This AP History thing is really bothering me, I feel like my junior schedule is way too easy now. I met with the dean today to see if I could take an extra major (econ) in addition just to challenge myself more, but he said no. I’m kind of disappointed, I’ve been complaining nonstop to my friends and they’re probably getting extremely annoyed at me. Hehe. I’m trying to get over it, it’s hard though, because I thought I had it. I thought I would get it, no question, and I guess I was more surprised than anything.

I can’t believe school starts in less than two weeks! My brother figured out that we have 9 more days until another year of craziness starts. It’s junior year too. I’m excited and freaked out at the same time. I’m taking classes (wich the exception of history) that I’m really excited for. I’m just worried that I wont know anyone in these classes since all my friends are taking AP and honors classes and I’m kind of… not.

What else is newwww? I haven’t done anything for Melonburst recently. Wordpress is annoying me a lot, I may switch back to cutenews if I can’t figure out these problems. I’m not sure though. I want to start writing programs like wordpress and cutenews but I don’t know where to start learning- I kind of want to expand my knowledge… maybe flash? I don’t know. I want to make an amazing website filled with tutorials and stuff. I kind of want to start another webzine too, but for now those are just ideas. Stay tuned =)

I have been away from internet life for so long! I am really excited and happy to be back, I’m sad to see that a bunch of people I knew from before have closed their sites, but there are all kinds of new sites and new webmasters/mistresses to start to get to know. And that’s cool. I hope to be back for good now- I love writing tutorials and I find that I have time to… I mean, I wont be able to write like 9543 a day, but maybe one good tutorial a week will be a good start. That’s what I’m aiming for. I basically just wanted a place to blog, my own online journal, I missed blogging and reading blogs.

So. Melonburst. I turned Melonburst into my blog, I wanted to change my name, but I’m not going to do that yet… maybe in a year or so. I really need a place to blog, I’m too lazy to keep up with my journal and I’ve always liked reading what people have to say… I like the more “social” ish aspect of blogging. But I’m planning on writing new tutorials, I’m still trying to find a style I like- the perfect proportion between text and images. I’m working on it. I’m probably not going to “officially” open until sometime next week or the following week. I’ll tell you guys when the “grand opening” is. I’ll probably add like 5-10 tutorials that day. Everything else is running- you can apply for affiliates (I’m accepting a lot of top right now!) and I have my little blog. =)

Me. I’m still Nicole! I grew a ton this past year, starting my new school, making new friends, living through new experiences. It was a good year and I’m looking forward to starting the new year (despite the HUGE setback of not getting into AP Euro History, as I planned, for like EVER!). I still have the same boyfriend I had since January (those of you who have been following for a while- when I was open for a while in April might know about him). Things are going well. I haven’t seen him that much this summer though, that disappoints me.

I’m going to California tomorrow to visit my grandparents again, I’m looking forward to that. I love seeing them. There’s not that much to do there so I brought my SAT packets, my college books, and pleasure books. It should be a really good trip. I’ll write/blog/update from there. Probably not until Monday.
